Police Inspector Suraj is an orphan, who was rejected by his biological mother, for reason(s) unknown. Suraj has grown up questioning as to how any mother could reject her own child. He meets with Raja, and after a few misunderstandings, both become fast friends. Raja introduces him to his mom, Savitri, who welcomes and accepts him. Suraj loves Sapna, and hopes to marry her someday. Unfortunately, he finds out that Raja also loves Sapna, and decides to step away, and takes to alcohol.

Yateem (1988)

Widower Inspector Shiv Kumar Yadav lives with his widowed mom, and daughter, Gauri. He finds out that Ujagar Singh, a bandit, is coming to the Dargah of an Islamic Saint, where he entraps and kills him. Shiv finds out that his wife is also dead, leaving behind an orphan son. He decides to adopt this child and names him Krishna. He decides to make Krishna a Police Officer and sends him for training. Years later, Krishna has grown up and is now a Police Officer, and returns home to the Yadav residence to find that Shiv has married a much younger woman, Chanchal; Shiv’s mom has passed away, and Gauri is in love with him.

Mr. India is a 1987 Bollywood science fiction superhero film directed by Shekhar Kapur. It stars Anil Kapoor in the title role, Sridevi as his romantic interest and Amrish Puri in one of his best-known roles as the villain Mogambo.The film was the biggest hit of 1987 in India and remains a cult classic. The film was known for several of its lines and songs, including Sridevi’s Miss Hawa Hawaii performance, and Amrish Puri’s quote “Mogambo khush hua” (Mogambo is pleased), which is one of the most famous quotes of Bollywood and has become synonymous with Puri.The Mogambo character is also considered to be one of the best villains in Bollywood history.
