Mardon Wali Baat (1988)

Yadvinder Singh and his brother Tinku are career criminals in Bombay, India. They have always managed to elude the police, and continued with their way of life. Then one day, they receive a letter from a blackmailer, who claims that there is evidence that can send them to jail for a long time unless and until they go to a village named Kashipur and protect a boy named Rahul and other villagers from being killed by a gang of bandits led by Raja Sunder Singh. Fearful of being apprehended by the police, the duo decide to follow the blackmailer’s instructions.

Sholay (1975)

Sholay is an Indian film directed by Ramesh Sippy. It is the biggest hit in the history of Bollywood, India’s Hindi film industry. Released on 15 August 1975, it stars Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and Amjad Khan. The movie, shot in the rocky terrain of Ramanagara, Karnataka,is the story of two petty criminals hired to capture a ruthless dacoit by the name of Gabbar Singh.Sholay is the highest grossing film of all time in Indian cinema. The movie has earned Rs. 768,81,00,000, equivalent to US$ 160 million, after adjusting for inflation.

Shalimar (1978)

Shalimar is a 1978 Hindi film. Its English version known as Raiders of Shalimar was released in USA. The movie starred Dharmendra, Zeenat Aman, Prem Nath, Aruna Irani, Shammi Kapoor, Sir Rex Harrison, and American actors John Saxon and Sylvia Miles in supporting roles. Jayamalini does a dance number in the film. This was the last time that Mohammed Rafi’s voice was picturized on Shammi Kapoor.The film flopped at the box office.

Chandan Ka Palna (1967)

Ajit lives with his mother, and comes from a very wealthy family. He meets with beautiful Shobha and both fall in love with each other. Ajit’s mom is delighted and agrees to meet with Harikishan Rai, Shobha’s father, to finalize their marriage. The marriage takes place with great pomp and ceremony. A few years later, Ajit notices a change in Shobha’s behavior. She changes her lifestyle, adopts a more liberal outlook, takes to drinking alcohol, and has an hair-cut. Ajit and his mom are perplexed and appalled at this change, and want to find out, but Shobha refuses to tell them anything.
