Golmaal Returns (2008)

Golmaal Returns is a 2008 Bollywood film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is a sequel to the 2006 film, Golmaal with Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi reprising their roles and Shreyas Talpade reprising the role originally played by Sharman Joshi. Kareena Kapoor, Anjana Sukhani, Amrita Arora and Celina Jaitley are new additions to the cast. Produced by Dhillin Mehta under Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision LTD, the film released on 29 October 2008.

Talaash: The Hunt Begins… (2003)

Talaash: The Hunt Begins… is a Bollywood film starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in title roles. It is directed by Suneel Darshan and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani.Babu works for three underworld dons, and must go to prison to protect them. When his sentence is over, he returns home to find that his wife, Purnima, son, Arjun, and daughter, Pooja, living a destitute life. When he confronts his bosses, he is beheaded in front of his wife and children, and his daughter is abducted. Purnima loses her mind, and is hospitalized in a mental hospital.

Omkara (2006)

Omkara is a 2006 Hindi film adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. It starred Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, supported by Vivek Oberoi, Naseeruddin Shah and Konkona Sen Sharma with a cameo role from Bipasha Basu. The director Vishal Bharadwaj himself composed the entire music for the film, including the background score, with song lyrics by Gulzar.The film was showcased at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival along with a book on the making of Omkara.It was also selected to be screened at the Cairo International Film Festival, where Bharadwaj was awarded for Best Artistic Contribution in Cinema of a Director.

Kambakkht Ishq (2009)

Kambakkht Ishq is an Indian Bollywood film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film, a remake of the 2002 Tamil film Pammal K. Sambandam,features Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in pivotal roles along with actors Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora in supporting roles. Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh and Holly Valance appear in cameos, playing themselves.Originally scheduled to release in December 2008,the film was postponed due to extensive production work and was released on July 3, 2009.

Refugee (2000)

Refugee is a Bollywood film directed by J. P. Dutta, released on 30 June, 2000. The film marked the debut of Abhishek Bachchan, son of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor, the sister of actress Karisma Kapoor and part of the famous Kapoor family. Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty and Anupam Kher also star. The film performed moderately well at the box office and was the fifth highest grossing film of that year.Bihar-based Manzur Ahmed, his wife, his mother, and his daughter, decide to re-locate to East Pakistan after the partitioning of Hindustan during 1948, following the tussle between Sheikh Mujib Rehman and Pakistan’s General Bhutto, which led to the formation of Bangladesh, where Manzur and several other Muslims were forced to re-locate to Pakistan. In order to do this, they cross two borders, one with India and Bangladesh, and the second with India and Pakistan.

Chameli (2003)

Chameli is about a single night chance encounter between a prostitute and a bank employee.Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd, the movie is yet another attempt at semi-realistic cinema by Sudhir Mishra who had in the past made ‘one-night-stand’ film titled Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin.It is a rainy night in Mumbai. Aman (Rahul Bose) is in a mood to drive through the city as rain brings him the memories of his dead wife (Rinke Khanna), who was killed in a tragic accident on a rainy night.
