Dil To Pagal Hai (1997)

Dil To Pagal Hai is a Bollywood comedy/drama, released October 31, 1997, depicting the love lives of dancers in a musical dance troupe. The tag line is “Someone somewhere is made for you…” It was directed by Yash Chopra. It stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor, with a supporting role by Akshay Kumar. It was the first Bollywood movie to be shot in Baden-Baden, Germany, and in the German theme park Europa Park. The movie was the second highest grosser for the year 1997 in Bollywood.It won many awards, including sweeping most of the major categories at that year’s Filmfare Awards.

Ram Jaane (1995)

Ram Jaane is a 1995 Indian Bollywood movie directed by Rajiv Mehra about an unnamed kid (portrayed by Shahrukh Khan) who grows up to become a gangster. He uses the name Ram Jaane after meeting with a priest who in response to the kid asking about his name said “Ram Jaane” (God knows). The movie ranks the 8th highest grossing Hindi movie of 1995 and is also the fourth time Shahrukh Khan is playing a negative role after Baazigar, Darr and Anjaam. The film is inspired by James Cagney’s Angels With Dirty Faces.

Koyla (1997)

Koyla a Hindi movie which was released in India on 18 April 1997.It is directed by Rakesh Roshan and stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit in their second film together, Amrish Puri, Himani Shivpuri, Johnny Lever, Ashok Saraf and Kunika. Mohnish Behl is featured in a guest appearance. Hrithik Roshan, director Rakesh Roshan’s son, worked on this movie as an associate director.

Chak De India! (2007)

Chak De! India is a 2007 Bollywood sports film about field hockey in India. It is directed by Shimit Amin, produced by Yash Raj Films, and stars Shahrukh Khan as Kabir Khan, the former captain of the Indian hockey team. After a disastrous loss to the Pakistani hockey team, Khan is ostracized from the sport. He and his mother are further forced from their ancestral home by angry neighbors. Seven years later in an attempt to redeem himself, Khan becomes the coach for the Indian women’s hockey team with the goal of turning its sixteen contentious players into a champion team. After leading the women’s team to the Gold, Khan restores his reputation and returns with his mother to their home, welcomed by those who had shunned them years before.
